About the Course

Bad lighting ruins a shot no camera can fix — and unsafe rigging puts people at real risk. This course teaches you to light a scene with intention and rig lighting and grip equipment safely, whether you're in a studio or on location.

You'll train on real lighting instruments and grip hardware, building repeatable setups you can rely on for any shoot.

  • Master three-point lighting and colour temperature
  • Work with real LED panels, fresnels and softboxes
  • Learn safe grip rigging and power distribution
  • Practice both studio and location lighting
  • Finish ready to work as a gaffer or lighting technician
